Overview
TNT Alumni is a monthly series designed to connect TNT program graduates for ongoing peer support and professional development in primary care mental health. Activities include collaborative case presentations where alumni share challenging patient scenarios, skills refresher sessions on new evidence-based practices, networking opportunities for career updates, and monthly expert presentations on emerging integrated care topics. This program maintains clinical competency, reduces professional isolation, and strengthens the TNT alumni network, providing all graduates with continued learning and mutual support opportunities.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply a structured decision framework before initiating or continuing opioids
  2. Systematically assess patient risk for opioid-related harm
  3. Use mindful, motivational interviewing approaches when discussing opioid therapy
  4. Develop a safer opioid management plan for complex cases

University of California, Irvine School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
