The proposed CME activity will be developed in collaboration with UC Irvine School of Medicine as structured, recurring lecture series designed to support ongoing professional development for physicians and Allied Health Professionals. The program will consist of monthly sessions delivered in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person attendance and virtual participation to maximize accessibility and engagement. Each session will focus on high-impact clinical and operational topics relevant to current practice, including evidence-based updates, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety strategies, and regulatory or accreditation requirements. Learners will engage with the content through a combination of didactic presentations, case-based discussions, and interactive polling to reinforce key concepts and encourage real-time participation. Faculty presenters will incorporate practical scenarios drawn from clinical practice to promote application of knowledge, while moderated Q&A segments will allow participants to clarify concepts and share experiences. To enhance engagement beyond passive listening, select sessions will include brief knowledge checks or audience response questions during the presentation. Measurable outcomes will be integrated into the activity design to evaluate effectiveness and support continuous improvement. Participants will complete pre-and post-activity assessments to assess knowledge acquisition, as wells as session evaluations to provide feedback on content relevance and instructional quality. Where applicable, learners will be encouraged to identify at least one actionable change to implement in their clinical practice following each session. Attendance tracking and participation metrics (e.g., polling responses, completion of evaluations) will be monitored to ensure compliance with CME requirements and to inform future topic selection.

1. Apply newly acquired skills and evidence-based behaviors in clinical practice to improve patient care outcomes.
2. Analyze clinical outcomes data and current guidelines to inform decision-making and optimize patient care.
3. Integrate outcomes data and evidence-based guidelines into clinical practice to enhance the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
4. Identify and utilize appropriate evidence-based resources across the continuum of care (pre-, intra-, and post-care) for the targeted patient population.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and Centinela Hospital Medical Center.
