The Interdisciplinary Burn Journal Club is a monthly meeting designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among healthcare professionals involved in the care of adult and pediatric burn patients. Each session explores diverse topics, including clinical advancements, innovative therapies, case studies, and research findings, to enhance patient outcomes and professional expertise across disciplines.

1. Critically review current literature, practice data, and internal processes and apply these concepts to their care of patients.
2. Review best practices in an interdisciplinary setting to enhance collaboration and contributions in health care systems.
3. Develop competencies in providing comprehensive burn care across the age spectrum, from pediatric to geriatric patients.
4. Enhance knowledge and skills in managing patients across the care spectrum, including prehospital, acute, rehabilitative, and long-term care phases.

 

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME  requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.
