Overview
Urology Grandest Rounds

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Summarize key issues in healthcare delivery in the diagnosis and management of common diseases seen in adult and pediatric urologic practice.
  2. Describe pertinent pathophysiologic principles in urologic disease and identify tissue slides related to these disease.
  3. Cite current research findings in Urologic Surgery; critically analyze new landmark contributions to Urologic research and relate these findings to current clinical “Best” practice.
  4. Review “Best Practice” surgical techniques in the treatment of selected genitourinary diseases and their impact on improved patient care.
  5. Discuss common complications seen after treatment of certain urologic diseases for reduction of morbidity and mortality in clinical practice.
  6. Present radiological findings and techniques to benefit patient care by urologic surgeons in support of up-to-date fluoroscopy permits.
