Objective(s): 1 identify mental health difficulties of trans young 1 attendees, particularly those who work with transgender individuals and/or individuals on the spectrum, should be aware of the co-occurrence of gender diversity and autism and be able to synthesize a care plan for trans young adults that incorporates their ASD 2 recognize the differences in mental health and access to gender affirming care between trans young adults with ASD and trans young adults without ASD

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. identify mental health difficulties of trans young
  2. attendees, particularly those who work with transgender individuals and/or individuals on the spectrum, should be aware of the co-occurrence of gender diversity and autism and be able to synthesize a care plan for trans young adults that incorporates their ASD
  3. recognize the differences in mental health and access to gender affirming care between trans young adults with ASD and trans young adults without ASD
